The objectives of this project are:
1. Serve as an initial incentive and compensation model to lower diesel costs and encourage investment in distributed energy sources.
2. Leverage blockchain as a liberation technology to lower barriers and provide access to renewable energy to 1.2 billion worldwide without electricity. 10% of all funds will be directly used to fund the development of technology and grid technologies in Africa, South America, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia.
3. Establish a decentralized network localized from renewable energy generation, minimizing transmission costs and carbon intensity in energy transmission processes.
4. Develop viable business models for the Net-Zero Energy market with open source platforms and databases with peer-to-peer capabilities and no third-party requirements. This will give consumers the freedom and flexibility to choose a 100% renewable energy source.
5. Allows citizens to contribute and benefit from green economy and directly reduce carbon emissions by digitizing all energy related operational activities.
6. Peer-to-Peer transition model that opens values at the edge of the grid. This will empower users and all network participants to receive maximum influence in network settings for their contribution in the green economy.
GRID:
Grid is a mobile and desktop application that serves as an open source database for energy transactions for network participants. KWHCoin is a digital currency that provides exchange media for transactions on the Grid platform.
KWHCoin will enable the underserved to claim energy freedom. Not only will they have the freedom to choose their energy provider, but can also sell their own renewable energy to others through The Grid in the form of a KWH token.
The core technical offerings are mobile and desktop apps for use on the web, Android and iOS.
DISTRIBUTION
